When: Friday February 24 - Sunday February 26, 2017. Check-in starts at 5:30 PM on Friday; Program begins at 7:30. Retreat concludes at 12:00 noon on Sunday.

Where: YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park on the outskirts of Rocky Mountain National Park. Rooms and check-in will be in the Long’s Peak Lodge. Meals in Walnut Dining Hall.

Why attend? The men’s retreat is a fantastic way to get to know some great guys and grow closer to God, while breaking away from your hectic schedule in a fun, relaxing and scenic environment.

Cost: Cost range is: $140 each for a quad, $180 each for a triple, $215 each for a double and $305 for a single. It is only $60 each for men under 30 for a quad room. This includes two nights lodging, all meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. We appreciate having full payment at time of registration. The Saturday only fee is $85. Scholarships are available. Lodging: All rooms have two queen size beds, a single floor futon and a private bath. If there are four men to a room, two will have to share a queen bed or one brings an air mattress.

Getting there: A packet will be mailed or emailed to you the week of February 20th, which will include a map, list of what to bring and an attendee list that will help if you need to arrange transportation.

Our speaker: Since 2015 Forrest has served as the Dean of Spiritual Life and Campus Pastor at Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington. From 2001-2011 he served as Director High School ministry at First Pres. In 2011 he left for Fuller Seminary to complete his Master of Divinity degree and then went on to St Andrews Scotland where in 2015 he received his PhD in Systematic Theology. Forrest is married to Janelle and they have three children: Esther (9), Bella (7) and River (4).

Seminars: A variety of optional one-hour seminars will be offered Saturday afternoon.

Recreation: Saturday afternoon there will be time for a short hike, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, a bike ride, basketball, fishing or a seminar. Of course, a long nap is a choice as well.
