Maundy Thursday: 7pm in the Sanctuary

Maundy Thursday marks the "new commandment" (Latin, maundatum) Jesus gives his disciples in the Upper Room, that they love one another as he has loved them. In this service we will recall that first Lord's Supper and consider the extravagant love of Christ for each of us.

Good Friday: 7pm in the Sanctuary

The Good Friday Tenebrae worship service centers on the Seven Last Words of Christ from the cross. Join us as we walk through the growing darkness of Jesus' passion through Scripture, prayer, hymns, poetry, art, and silent reflection in this moving time of worship.

Easter Sunday: 9 & 11am

Join us as we celebrate the risen Lord during the 9am worship service at Macky Auditorium on the CU Campus & the 11am worship service at First Pres (same service at both locations). We will begin our four-week sermon series One on One with Skepticism (John 20:24–29).

  • Led by Erik Hanson, Lead Pastor; Chancel Choir; Salt & Light Choir; First Pres Worship Team; organ; and Mile High Brass
  • Refreshments served after each Easter service
  • Complimentary parking will be available for Easter worshipers at Macky Auditorium in Lot 380. From the intersection of University and 17th Street, head east onto campus, turn right onto Macky Drive, and left onto Pleasant Street. The entrance to Lot 380 will be on your left. The Euclid Parking garage is under construction and is closed.

Easter Monday

Personnel and Session approved closing the church on Monday, April 17. Staff will not report to work and no programming or activities will take place. If you participate in an activity scheduled in the Annex on April 17, contact your group leader for information about the status of your program.

 In Memory

Bob Culver passed away Monday, April 10. His service will take place April 27 at 11am in the Chapel with a reception to follow.
